Tests work, but send on publish does not

    Plugin has been working fine for years, but on our first post after updating to WP 5.0.3, Subscribe2 didnt send anything when we published the post.
    Test emails work, but, when publishing a post, it appears that nothing is triggered.

    In WP 5.0.3 are you using the new Block Editor, Classic Editor, or something else?

    Personally, I’m forcing WP back to using the basic text editor and it’s working fine for me.

    Using the new Block Editor. We will switch back to the classic editor and see if that works.

    Switching back to classic editor solved the problem here. Thanks!

    In posts edited with the new Block Editor, some emails were getting through (tests and emails to the author of the post). Users who were subscribed to all the categories were also getting emails. But that defeats the purpose of subscribe2, because we want some users to only get emails from new articles in specific categories and not from other categories.

    I just wish I had seen this thread 3 days ago. ??
