It appears that there are some JS errors on the site and because of that the slider’s JS is not working properly. If you can share the webpage URL, I can provide a fix quickly.

    Waiting for your response.

PS, I have just disabled the plugin for the moment as it looks quite bad. I can leave it enabled if you need it enabled to troubleshoot… just let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Here is how you can fix the same.

Go to the Smooth Slider settings page ==> Basic Settings tab ==> Background Color field. See if “Transparent” background is checked. if yes, uncheck that option and save changes.

Let me know if it helps.

Hi, transparent was unchecked already (#ffffff). Tried with both checked and unchecked but no dice. I have disabled plugin again. If you can email me I’ll send you a temp UN and PW so you can take a look. My email is [email protected]

    Thanks for trying ??

    Hi,

Same problem here with my site https://www.nikonpassion.com/

The slider was working fine but for some reason, is not anymore. I did some adjustment on another plugin, WP-Touch, but not Smooth Slider.

I tried to check/uncheck “Transparent” background without success too.

    Any help appreciated ??

Go to the Smooth Slider settings page ==> Basic Settings tab ==> Miscellaneous section ==> Enter the below CSS in “Custom Styles” box and save changes.

    .smooth_slider .smooth_slideri {background:rgb(231, 229, 219);}

Let me know if it helps

    Hi,

Yes, this did resolve it for me!… I changed the backround to 255, 255, 255 (white) and it is still good. Thanks!

I still have a rendering problem though on page load. As the page is loading, I can see 2 x “Read More” links. Once the page fully loads, one of them goes away and everything looks good. Any ideas?
