Text Align Left

I’ve installed the plugin and added it to a widget in my footer using the text box option.

The rest of the widgets in my footer are all text-aligned left, and I’d like to do the same with yours, but it doesn’t change when I alter the css.

The default css is this:

vertical-align:middle;
margin-left:5px;
font-family:verdana;

I’ve tried changing the middle to left, tried deleting that line, tried text-align:left, tried deleted it all, but when I click Apply, nothing changes.

Can you please help me get the text to align to the left.
