Text and Visual Editors not working in 4.3

  • Updated to 4.3 and cannot view anything in visual or text editors. I can type in the quick drafts, but then the text is not visible in the draft post when I try to edit it. Using Twenty Fifteen theme. I disabled all plugins and still not text.

    Do you have any Javascript errors in the console when looking at the editor page?

    If you use any caching systems, like Cloudflare, clear those caches.

    I have no JavaScript errors and I haven’t installed any cache plugins.

    I’m having the same problem. I can’t install my Paypal buttons! Help, loosing money fast.

    I can get the text editor working by disabling the visual editor in my user setting. But no visual editor.

    I don’t have any suggestions on paypal, though.

    So, Otto, actually after I figured out how to look for Javascript errors when I was on the edit page, it turns out that I have these errors:

    two Uncaught ReferenceError: tinymce not defined.

    one Uncaught ReferenceError: tinyMCE not defined.

    So what does this mean?

    Generally speaking, it means you have some form of cache that you did not clear. Cloudflare? Clear it. Any server cache? Clear it. Browser cache? Clear it. *ANY* cache? Clear it.

    Hi Guys

    Basically i have 2 problems:

    (1) I want to add link video to my “text editor” but when i tried to click “text editor” it doesn’t show any response.

    (2) Same problems with lucile number 1, but it happens to “insert media”. When i tried to click “insert media” from a new post it doesn’t show any response.

    I’ve tried all of your suggestion, but it doesn’t work at all.
    Any alternative tips?
