text area for custom attribute?

i need to add a custom event attribute for long text… how do i make it display a textarea instead of just a text field in the submit form??

i think the text field will take a substantial amount of text, i just want it to LOOK like it will, so form submitters do not get confused ??

i’m sure it’s gotta be easy, but i haven’t found an answer by searching this forum nor the documentation for the plugin…

any suggestions greatly appreciated.
