Text color not changing

Hello,

I’m using the following CSS to change the event color:

.fc-h-event {
background-color:#ffffff;
border:none
}

I want the background white and the text black, but when I try to change the text color, nothing works. It stays white. I tried inserting color:#000000; inside the above code, changing the hex code to the word black, adding !important, none of that worked.

Anyone know the solution? Thanks in advance!
