    I am using the OptimizePress theme & on some pages the text color of notification bar set in the Dashboard is being overridden.

    It looks like the color is normally inherited from the parent Div tag, but that on some pages the OptimizePress theme is styling the P tag & therefore overriding the inherited color:

    p, .single-post-content li, #content_area li, .op-popup-button .default-button {
    font-size: 15px;
    font-family: “Source Sans Pro”,sans-serif;
    color: #6E6E6E;

    Hi,
    what about adding a custom css in your style css and put banner rules with !important ?

    Yes, that’s what I’ve done; although use of !important wasn’t necessary.

    But that’s just a workaround that overrides the Dashboard settings.

    Unfortunately if your theme css is overriding the plugin’s one this is the fastest solution…

    I will look for a better and more independent banner structure as soon as possibile.
