text colour help!

  • Hi!

    I’m really new to wordpress and am struggling with my page..

    so my website is https://maddisonunderwood.wordpress.com/

    on the front ‘portfolio’ page if you hover over the images there is some really faint text that is the project title. Just trying to figure out how to put the text underneath the image OR make the text a different colour to be more visible? really struggling feel like ive tried everything!!

    These forums are for www.ads-software.com sites, which are sites that are “self-hosted,” as opposed to hosted on wordpress.com. You want to post questions on the WordPress.com Support Forums.

    In general though, the changes you are trying to make can be done using CSS, but making changes to the CSS requires a Premium package. You might want to post a question on the wordpress.com support page just to make sure, there may be a theme option that allows you to change the text color.
