Text colours in Mailpoet E-Mails don’t save anymore. Preview works fine with the first draft, but as soon as I schedule the E-Mail and then preview again all new text has reverted to black. Only the unchanged template text remains in our correct default colours (and can’t be saved in a changed colour either, they revert to our default colours as soon as I preview or schedule). The issue seems to have occurred since the last update, a week ago everything still worked fine. Please help!

  • We do have the same problem randomly on some PC or MAC with different browsers. And this issue is clearly due to the last update.. ( I think upgrade of the tiny editor ). Any info about that ? Thanks

    Hey there @undinederiviere @imoullet

We’re investigating this a bit further, and have some work being done to see if we can fix this with a release.

We will keep you posted on this.

Thanks! So far the error is still persistent even after that last update.

    Hey there !

I tried to troubleshoot this is issue. It seem be a JavaScript-side bug, the color style is not send to the server at save via AJAX.

@undinederiviere Can you confirm you’re on 4.5.1 and still seeing this issue?

@slash1andy I’m on 4.5.0 which seems to be the latest version according to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailpoet/ (I auto update with Easy Updates Manager).

We still have the problem that colors dont save, even after the newest Update. The problem appeared last week and still isnt solved.

Another problem also appeared: text that is copied from Word documents or google docs keep their other formatation, so that they have another font size that the mailpoet text. This can not be changed inside of mail poet.
(I do not want to insert the text without formats, because then all Links from the list are deleted. It worked before with word or google docs, problems before only appeared when text was copied from LIbreOffice Documents.)

We have the Mailpoet Premium Account.

Any chance of getting this fixed? I’m on 4.6.0 now and the issue is still persistent. Creating beautiful e-mails in our corporate design and colours was really one of the best Mailpoet features …

    Hi @undinederiviere @exploratoriumberlin @wascardev and @imoullet,

The fix will be included in this week’s release.

Please monitor for the updates and let us know if the issue persists afterwards.
