    Yes, the text has to go inside the columns, how else were you expecting it to work?

    Sorry I’m late with this as well, but to answer your question I need to know one thing; are we talking about HTML columns or CSS columns?

    Essentially what I’m looking for are columns that act as much as the columns in a word processor, or in CSS. Would make an author’s life a tad easier.

    I think you can do it in XML, so HTML5 should be able to handle the matter. The problem is, how does XML handle it?
