• Since the last update, when I copy a section of text from Microsoft Word and paste it into Gutenberg, the text all goes into 1 paragraph block, rather than being split into separate paragraphs.

Previously I could copy from MS Word and it would be split into separate blocks.

If I copy the text into code editor, then switch back to visual editor, it correctly adds the <!– wp:paragraph {“imagePinMeta”:{}} –> at each of the paragarphs.

How do I get the copy-paste to operate as expected?

Yes, I have, that’s exactly what is not happening. None of the formatting (including paragraph breaks) is being copied over.

Hi! I have the same issue on my website. This is something new that just started happening a week or 2 ago.
I always follow the same steps to paste the text without formatting and then I check the html and this <!– wp:paragraph {“imagePinMeta”:{}} –> gets added every time now.
Seeing that it says “pin” in it. @pghealy , Do you also use the Grow Social Plugin (formerly Social Pug)?

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn’t think about that. I switched off Grow Social and the problem was fixed. I reported it to them so hopefully, they come up with a fix soon.

Nice! Thanks for doing that and let’s hope it’ll be fixed soon!
