    Hello,
    I’m having an issue getting the text counter addon to function a certain way. Hopefully this is possible.

    I have a product that I want the customer to be able to enter a name in the text counter field and have the price update accordingly base on the number of characters. The issue is that I want to have my base price shown in the product listing, but not included in the total.

    For example, my base price is $5. Each letter is $5. if the buyer want 4 letters, I need the total to be $20, not $25.

    Simply, I need the qty of the base product to be set by the number of characters in the text counter field.

  • Hi,

    the text counter price is an addon, which means it will be added to base price. If you want to disable base price. Please set base price to 0 and let addon to calculate price per character which is working fine.

    Yeah, I was trying to avoid that. Now with the price set to 0 the customer see a “FREE” label slapped onto the product thumbnail. Now I have to figure out how to remove that.

    Maybe this could be a future improvement?
