Text Disappearing

  • When I add more than one image to my post or page and publish, the text of the post disappears on the published page and it just says edit. the text is in the edit page box and when I delete one of the images and republish the text reappears on the published page.

    I have no idea where to even start looking for how to fix this. Does someone have an idea?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    I’m occasionally having the disappearing text issue. I’m using the Photocrati theme and I contacted them concerning this, and they claim it’s a WP issue.
    The problem seems to happen when I add images or galleries to the page or post (I believe it happens with both, I know it happens with pages).
    I see many people are having this problem and have tried disabling plug-ins which seems to be the only suggestion on the forum to no avail.

    It seems like too many people are having this problem for it to be coincidence or user error.

    Even with this issue I’m totally in love with WordPress. I’ve tried the other Mac based web authoring tools and I’m never going back.
