Text displays at different sizes in different browsers

  • Even though I’m using the HTML tab and specifying text size like this:

    <font size=”3″ color=”#000000″ face=”delicious”>

    The font is ridiculously large in IE. I’ve checked the text size settings and also looked at this on different computers. So far I’m looking at PAGES not posts, because that’s all I’ve put up. Any help appreciated!

  • 3pts? 3px? 3em? 3%? the browsers are guessing be specific. Hope this helps.

    Also, This type of styling is depreciated, you should use CSS instead.

    Hi all,

    I have had the same problem. I am using 1em as default and am still having this problem. My site is https://www.gamehawk.co.uk/ and is still under development. Firefox and Chrome are fine, IE shows up massive on page and sidebar menu content.

    Bit stuck on this one!

    Any ideas would be much appreciated…
