text does not appear with image

  • on Page/About (front page) I have some text that I entered in the editing window under the picture of the lady riding the trike. But it doesn’t appear on the page. I’d like it to appear to the left of the large image. I have no idea why it doesn’t appear.

    I’m sorry, I am taking a Lynda.com class on WordPress and have tried everything I can to figure this out myself.

    On the About page, I do see some bio text to left of the image, as well as a caption under the image. Have you already got this sorted out then? Hope so. ??
