Text don’t show on page, but shows in Preview

  • I was making changes to the text on the front/index page. When I click the Preview button, WP will load the page preview and I’ll see the text when the SSL plugin is de-activated. When I click Upload, the page will upload, but it won’t show the text any longer.

    – I’ve tried to deactivate all the plugins to see if there’s any conflict.
    – WP is up to date. The theme has been discontinued so no recent updates.

  • If the SSL plugin is activated the text won’t show in the preview then?

    Also, does the text just not show on the front end of the site after clicking Upload or does it also not show in the post/page editing in the dashboard as well after clicking Upload?

    When the SSL is on:
    – The text is always visible in the WP Pages editing window and when I click Preview, the text will be visible on the website. When I then press Update, it is as if something in the code changes and the website will only show the images, but no text.

    When the SSL is off:
    The same as described above when the SSL is on.

    – The text shows at all times in the post/page.

    I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the SSL. It is as if something change in the code the moment I click Update.

    In order for me to get the code to show in the Preview, I have to Restore to a previous older version of the code.

    Problem solved.
    For some reason the body text was showing as black in Preview, but white in the Uploaded version. Simple as that ??
