    Hey all!

I’m using WordPress a month ago. Last days I’ve experienced some strange problem: the toolbar icons of the text editors had been disapeared. Tried to change to HTML view than back to VISUAL, and also tried in various browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox), but it’s all the same.
I have a website on a paid server and even on my own computer with WAMP server, and I’ve experience the same on both WordPress, but I don’t have this if I try from a different computer, so I’m sure my computer is the problem. Do you have any idea?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

First of all thank you for your answer!

I’m wondering what happened, but I’ve made a backup and deactivated all the plugins together with deleted all the previous inactive plugins. The toolbar started working! Cool!
After this I’ve tried to activate one-by-one all the previously active plugins to figure out which one is the responsible. Curiously, after re-activated every past active plugins, a toolbar was still up, so I didn’t found any plugins causing problems.
I suspect maybe one of my deactivated plugins was the faulty. Unfortunately I did not made a list of those plugins so I dont remember which ones were.:(

    Thanks again!
