text for error messages

Someone sent me the following reply that doesn’t make sense to me. It evidently is for another user’s question. I am posting it because if it is for me, I would like someone to help to understand it:

Please tell me what text to put in for the default messages for these two fields. I do not know what to say.

1. Error in the Subscribe / Confirmation Link:

Default message to display if there is any issue while clicking on subscribe / confirmation link from the Double Opt-In (Confirmation) emails.

2. Error in the Unsubscribe Link:

Default message to display if there is any issue while clicking on unsubscribe link from the emails.

The plugin already has the default mails crafted and are ready to use.
Stil if you want to change the default text. Please navigate to Email Subscribers–> Settings–> Signup Confirmation. Scroll Down And you will find in options to edit text for Error in subscribing & unsubscribing/

Thank you for your response. I don’t see the crafted default mails. All I have seen is the Signup Confirmation page. Where are the crafted default mails?

Still can’t find what the crafted default mails say, and I don’t know where to find them. I would like to see them. Thank you for helping me find them.

Kindly navigate to your WordPress dashboard–> Email Subscribers–> Compose.
There you may see a default post notification under the email subject stating “New Post Published – ###POSTTITLE### “.
This is the default post notification. It will be triggered after you publish your post.
