qTranslate seems to be the problem. His WYSIWYG editor enhancement adds extra <p> tags and line breaks. Any solution to that? Or an alternative multilanguage platform that’s easy to use?

Please, It’s really important to me. I need to solve this.

It’s impossible to tell what’s going on without a link to the page with the formatting problem… You can’t see the code or css in screenshots.

My apologies. Here’s the link to the page that has been formatted wrong:

The bottom line is what it should look like.

Your bad lines of text are wrapped in paragraph tags, while the correct ones end in line breaks.

With typed in WordPress text, two enters (return, return) will give you a new paragraph <p>, while a single enter (return) will give you only a line break <br />.

Make sure that you are not switching back and forth between the visual and html editors because doing so will mangle your code and mess up your page layout.

If the plugin is causing this, then make sure that you are using the latest version of it and also try contacting the plugin author.

I’d like to know if there’s a good alternative to qTranslate.

    It’s Opera.

    Here’s the explanation:

Opera is removing br tags if I switch between code and visual (in this case, English, German or any other language).

You just can’t switch back and forth between the visual and html editors in any browser without messing up your code.
