Text greyed/grayed out

  • This morning I was working on a post and noticed that the text seems to only ‘highlight’ the text you are working on. Everything else is grayed out and difficult to read.

    And there no longer seems to be the option to add captions to photos? I can type on the line below but that text appears to be white and can only be read if I highlight it.

    Perhaps this is the result of an upgrade because I had not made any other changes.

  • By default, the editor is styled by core styles, which are very legible.
    However, styles can be included by the theme and by plugins.

    You can use the Health Check plugin in Troubleshoot mode to disable plugins/theme for your user only, to isolate the problem code.

    Thank you very much. I am new to org having only used com before.

    I recently updated two Gutenberg plugins and thought it might be them, but after reading your reply I remembered I updated the theme at the same time.
