Text input not working using iPad!

  • I am trying to use the apple iPad to admin my site with the /wp-admin/ page. I can’t enter text! It just highlights the row I am clicking on and tells me what heading it is using.
    Is this a iphone/ipad/flash issue?

  • I have the same issue…

    My ipad lets me type in posts if the tab is on html and not visual
    I am using the atomic web browser that I got from the store
    I have not tried posting using safari

    I think everyone is having the same problem. It is not feasible to write posts on the iPad with the app or with Safari. I am confident this will get addressed with millions of iPads out there.

    Hope so cause I just bought an iPad primarily so I could edit my site on the road. Bother!

    I discovered that if you try to edit a new page then you can enter text from the iPad, and if you immediately go to create or edit a post from this point you can, but as soon as you close the keyboard you will not be able to edit any longer until you follow the above steps again.
