Text is not being updated on my pages?

    The text I’ve written on the pages on my site does not update. I put the text into paragraphs and once I have the text the way I want it and before I press ‘update’, the changes I’ve made are still there. Once I have pressed ‘update’, the changes are still not visible in the text box or on my live site. What is going on?

  • Does this happen with simple text, like:

    This is some text.

    .. and then that disappears when you press ‘update’?

    If yes, then you will want to temporarily deactivate all plugins and switch your theme to the default 2014 theme.

    Then, with ALL plugins deactivated and using the 2014 theme… go back to the editor and see if the issue persists.

    Does this mean I would have to use the 2014 theme from then on, or can I switch back to the theme I’m using?

    You can switch back (assuming the issue is not with your theme).

    Right now, we are just trying to determine where the issue is originating.

    When I switch back to my original theme, will all the content of my site be in the same order as before?
