Text Link Attributes – I miss them – TITLE

In the past WordPress asked a user that created a Text Link for the Link title=”Link title goes here” which was displayed on mouseover. This is important for Usability (and SEO).
Why has this function been removed from the Standard Link insert dialogue? Must I install a plugin to get what should be a Stanrad for disabled persons and Google?

It was removed because the majority of users were misusing this attribute. Yes, can just install a plugin to get that back.
The standard best practice is to use descriptive link text so that users don’t need additional information to understand the link. If you’re using icons, use both icons and text.
If you rely on title attributes, you have an underlying problem with the UX of your interactions.
If the supplementary information provided through the title attribute is something the user should know before following the link, such as a warning, then it should be provided in the link text rather than in the title attribute.
