Text links not working/shortcode issues (using Avada theme)

Hi Mike,

thank you for the webcomic plugin. It seems to be exactly what we need for our webpage. However, we have some trouble linking to the last page of our webcomic. We have a static start page using the avada theme (intergration method universal) from which we would like to link to the last page of the webcomic collection via text links and/or buttons.

We tried to use the text link as described here. Unfortunately the correct link is not generated and we turn up at the same page and not at https://kingdomdown.com/?webcomic1=seite-5, where “seite-5” is the last comic page.

We need the text link for a menu item (“read comic”), as well as an in-text reference.

We have set the permalink settings to default as suggested here.

This seemed to help get better results with the shortcode we used a bit as suggested here as an alternative to the text link. The short code button/link shows up and also the full last page when using [last_webcomic_link] or [last_webcomic_link]%full[/last_webcomic_link] respectively. But only when calling the page using the textlink url in the browser search field (https://kingdomdown.com/?webcomic_url=webcomic1-last). If we just call https://kingdomdown.com nothing shows up.
