I have seen that many of the pages on our website have dropped the majority of the body of text on a page.

It is clear that it is dropped, for many pages will have a line of text and it will be incomplete.

It also is no longer appearing in the edit section (both ‘visual’ and ‘text’). The text is not white either. Approximately 10 pages have all had text deleted. I’ve provided a link that is an example of how it look now.

Is any one aware of common causes and how to rectify – especially find the ‘apparently’ deleted text?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You could look for the missing text in the wp_posts table using phpMyAdmin. If its not there it won’t be anywhere, unless you have backups.

I don’t think this is a common problem. Best guess is that one of your plugins is causing a conflict or otherwise misbehaving. Can you replicate the issue by doing a new test post? If so, temporarily deactivate all plugins and retest. Reactivate one-by-one and retest to try to identify which plugin is causing the problem.

In particular, check to see if you have any admin-side editor enhancement type plugins. If so, are they up-to-date and are they being maintained.

Consider asking your theme’s support service:
