Text of pop-up displayed in posts

    Hello,

    My home page is a static page, currently with two posts (displayed two times, but that’s my own issue).

    Below the header and image for the post “Bamboo” I see additional text that is from my Mailpoet pop-up.

    “Please leave this field empty While you’re here, Sign up to get news on upcoming releases and…”

    It starts with “Please leave this field empty” then starts the text from the pop-up. I tried changing the text for the pop-up, but still see this text.

    Added a new test post, and that post also contained the Mailpoet text.

    Anyone seen this before?

    Any suggestions where to start looking?

    Hi there @commontater,

    Taking a look at your homepage, I’m not seeing the “additional text” that you described — were you already able to resolve this issue?

    On the page, I see your menu, header, and posts, but without any additional text. I see that the pop-up displayed after a delay, so I can tell that you didn’t just disable it. Based on that, it seems you might’ve already fixed this on your end.

    The workaround for this issue, for now, turned out to be adding more words to the post. Then I was able to increase the words displayed before the “read more” link. The display of the undesirable text from the Mailpoet pop-up was pushed down due to my added words in the post, and therefore not shown. A little hokey, I think, but it would not be seen often due to most people having more text inside a post than I had at the time.
