Text on banner

  • So i have a wordpress based website. I want to put some custom text inside the header. But the text must appear on top on the theme like “text 2” in this example.

    Unfortunately “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin include text in this way.

    I’d like to know how to assing certain area on in the header for my custom text, which is not the site title nor the site description text.

    For now i edited header.php file and inserted <div id=”masthead” class=”text2″> text 2 </div> in there and added css styling, but still its not within the theme header area.
