Text on home page looks greyed out

I noticed several days ago that, on my homepage, on the side, my “recently posted blogs” at The Classical Girl are showing up in two different tones of black/grey. It almost looks like some of them are now a dead link, but the link still works. Also, where I’ve linked another URL within the body of a blog or a page, some of the hyperlinks are showing up in blue, as I prefer (and I installed a custom css plug-in for it, a few years back, with success) and others are showing up in that washed-out grey tone. Everything works, link-wise, it’s just that sections of the page seem drab, greyed-out by comparison. This occurred just before the custom css plugin offered an update. Updating it, a day later, made no change for good or bad, so I think this must be related to the Twenty-Twelve theme.
