Text overlay covers entire background

  • I’m used to the text portion of a parallax arrangement to have a background color, so that the whole block moves against the back.
    When I choose ‘overlay’ in this plugin, the entire background is overlaid.

    Is it possible to have an overlay (full-width if possible) behind the content only?
