• On mobile, I have text from an instruction (#9) overlaying on the image uploaded with the instruction. If I turn off images on the instructions and then turn them back on or refresh the page, the issue resolves. But anyone who first sees the recipe will see the issue.

Is there a way I can fix this?

    Hi there,

Are you using any lazy image loading feature/plugin? Could you try disabling that for a second?

Hi Brecht, thanks for the response.

We use WP Rocket, but our lazy load was disabled (and still is) prior to the recipe article being posted.

I can see in the source code that there’s definitely some lazy image loading going on. Could be another plugin doing it then?

Not another plugin, looks like just core WordPress, according to our developer.

It might be a different issue then, as I’ve never seen or heard about this problem before.

It could be another kind of compatibility problem. Could you try using the Health Check plugin to test? We have a video in our documentation showing you exactly how to do that: https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/108-debugging-plugin-problems

Specifically the compatibility mode shown in the video where it basically tests a default theme and no other plugins active.

You would have to test on mobile, which is a bit annoying, but it should hopefully point in the right direction.
