Hello,, first of all that you very much for your plugin, works like a charm, and it’s very promissing, will be shortly in use at my company and costumers.

i have a doubt, how can i place the slide text, on the bottom, top or right side, like you have in the demo page. Because i see no options and the text fields always come at the same place, middle right side of the slide.

    Hi there and thanks!

Indeed texts are displayed at a fixed position.

For event slides: at the bottom, full width.
For post / text slides: in the middle aligned to the left (or at the bottom aligned to the left when using a portrait display).

There are currently no controls within Foyer to change this. However if you have some CSS knowledge, or know someone who does, it is pretty easy to change the position of texts (for all slides that is, not on a per slide basis). See the plugin FAQ.

I’m interested: What controls would you like within Foyer regarding text position? Maybe I will build this at some point.

In my case it would help if the recent post slide wouldn’t return all slides with the same look. Because if you tell the recent post slide to show the last 10 posts, all these posts look the same and that doesn’t look ‘professional’ at all. It would be enough to change every second of these posts to have the picture on the right and the text on the left. Would be great and thank you for your work, this is a great plugin.
    cheers.

    What’s an event slide?

Hi @goerri thanks for the suggestion, I like it, noted.

@martijndutch: Event slides are only available when the Theater for WordPress plugin is installed. More info: https://nl.www.ads-software.com/plugins/foyer/
