Text tab in Biographical Info

    Prior to WP 5.5, I was able to edit Biographical Info using Visual tab or Text tab. Now, when I click the Text tab, nothing happens. I can’t switch to it. I’m trying Safari and Firefox.

    Any clue why the interface does not work? There are no custom modifications to your plugin. Thanks!

    My best initial guess is that the issue might be caused by the plugin which is added all those other buttons to the Visual Editor tab.

    Can you temporarily deactivate that plugin and see if the issue corrects itself?

    Thanks for responding so quickly! After more testing, I have confirmed this is an issue with my paid theme, which is no longer being updated. I can switch to the Twenty Twenty theme to make edits, then switch back. I appreciate your mentioning the extra buttons that gave me direction to test.

    Great to hear you were able to figure out the cause. Not so good news about the unsupported theme though!
