Text Tabs & other buttons not working

    Within the last month or so, I’ve encountered and off-and-on issue with being able to access the text tab in the edit of a page or post. I also cannot access the following:
    1) “edit” links on the Publish box on the right-hand side
    2) “Screen Options” tab/button on the top right corner
    3) “Help” tab/button on the top right corner

    I can still access visual editing and update the page or post. But sometimes, I can access the text tab (after waiting a day or two) but then I can’t access the Visual tab. I’ve tried deactivating plugins and such but no such luck on fixing the issue. I know it is not a browser issue since I admin for another WP site without any similar issues.

    Has anyone encountered the same issues and/or found a solution to the problems above? Please help, thank you!!

    This fixed it for me.

    1. Try to deactivate all your plugins.

    2. Can you make sure that under “Users” >> “Your Profile”, the option to “Disable the visual editor when writing” is turned off?

    Undo step number 2.

    Reactivate your plugins.
