Text to long on location description

    Hello

    When text is too long in descritpion location, “Read more” is not accessible.

    Can you add an option to only show 100 first characters please ?

    Hi @storm6969,

    As this is the default description field I don’t want to limit the character count by default. There may be use cases where a long description is necessary (eg. single page).

    You could instead use a custom field. There you’ll have the option to set the max length.

    Hello Daniel,

    I, too, have long descriptions within my markers, and on mobile devices, the marker goes off the page. However, when I try to move the marker, using one finger, to continue reading the warning message ‘Use two fingers to move the map’ appears, instead.

    How can I read all description text on markers on mobile devices, please?

    Meanwhile @jakemacmanus reached out via email and brought up a cool solution: With a next plugin update I will make it possible to have a max-height of the location bubbles together with a scrollbar (if content is too long).
