  • I use this for my Amnesty International ‘ad’:
    <script src="https://fragments.irrepressible.info/js/fragment-180.js" type="text/javascript">

    </script>

    I just pasted that into a text widget and it works (for me).

    What backticks? You should be able to paste that code in directly. No special tricks required. The text widgets don’t have any filtering, as such.

    You do have to have the unfiltered HTML capability enabled, if you’re using the Role Manager stuff. Otherwise it strips out HTML, including that script bit.

    even without backticks, it just removes the script text.

    Im using the free wordpess blog site, and I cant see anything about Roles. I have checked the settings for the user (administrator) and what setting there are imply I can do anything.

    Where can I find the unfiltered HTML capability ?

    Yosemite,

    If i copy and paste your Amnesty internation advert script, and then click the Save Changes button, it removes that code as well :S
