• After typing in my content, including numbered and bulleted lists and in-text hyperlinks, the text widget refuses to show the links and lists.

In the text-editing panel on the left, I can see both the lists and hyperlinks just fine, but in the preview view and also in my published webpage, there are no hyperlinks and lists to be found.

Hyperlinks aren’t just not styled–they’re non-clickable. And although the list is indented, there are no numbers or bullets beside each <li>.

I’ve looked at the published page with Chrome inspector, and the HTML structure is there: all my links are encased in <a> tags, and my list structures in <ol or ul tags. However, still nothing visible in the end user experience.

    What I’ve Already Tried:
I’ve already tried disabled all plugins except for Elementor & Elementor Pro. I’ve also viewed it using Twentysixteen, and the problem persists. I’ve also updated all my themes and plugins. I have WP_DEBUG set to true. I have turned off SiteGround caching.

    I’m currently using Astra, FYI.

    Any advice?

    Hi all,

    the problem persists.

I’ve created two pages, one using Elementor and the other using WordPress as the text editor. The version using Elementor does not have functioning links or styled lists. The version using WordPress does.

    Seeking advice – please help.

    Update:

I was able to get links working again by disabling the free version of Elementor, and only keeping Elementor Pro active. This is using the theme Twentyfifteen, and with all other plugins disabled.

    Update 2:

I was able to get the links and lists formatting working by turning on Disable default fonts, which also turned off the custom fonts I’d set up in Elementor.

I will have to hard-code my typography settings in a child theme with Astra.

This is really not ideal. I would greatly appreciate it if the Elementor team could take a look at this for me.
