• I have tried two different text widgets and for some reason they’re not showing up. I finally gave up on the first one and deleted it (as you can tell, I’m extremely frustrated – I’ve spent two hours on SIMPLE TEXT/LINKS and it’s not working). Seriously, I’d prefer to go back to the days of non-css if these are the problems I’m going to experience.

Here’s the link to my site:
    https://www.harrypotterspage.com

Here’s the HTML I’m trying to post:
Get Your Harry Potter Posters and Stand Ups at 20% off at this link! Just use the code HARRYPOTTER

I mean, can it get much easier than this?

Before you ask, of course I’m pushing the save button (have done so about 50 times now). There is now only one save button located at the bottom of the actual text widget I’ve been trying to input for hours now, correct? Oh, and, yes, I have cleared my cache. I’m not seeing the code even on the source. Why is this? Is it the new 3.0.1 version or something?

Sorry I sound so negative, but I find it ridiculous that simple text with one link isn’t showing up.

Okay, going to try this again…

    Here’s the code:
Get Your Harry Potter Posters and Stand Ups at 20% off at <a href="https://www.allposters.com/-st/Harry-Potter-Movies-Posters_c96607_.htm?aid=82544" target="_blank">this link</a>! Just use the code HARRYPOTTER

i am having the same problem, no HTML is working in the text widget!!!

    Sooo frustrating!!

Edit: just disabled ALL plugins and it worked, narrowed the culprit down to AWeber plugin, deleted!
