Text Widget Problem In 2.8

  • I Upgraded to 2.8 with no apparent hitches, but when I went to widgets I found I can no longer edit text widgets. All they say is “There are no options for this widget”.

    I’m using the jillij theme at seimeffects.com. Could this be a theme issue? The current content of the widgets works fine on the site, so I’m thinking it something else.

  • To check whether it is a theme issue or not, try reverting back to the default theme and then see if you can edit text widgets. If you can then you know that it is a problem with the theme that you are using.

    OK when I change to classic theme the widgets work again, so it seems this has something to do with the Jillij theme.

    The next question is where do I start. Not much support on this theme. Any idea what part of it might cause such a problem?
