Text widget titles hyperlinking to unrelated sites
-
Hello, I have a strange problem.
The titles of some of my text widgets are hyperlinking to my Twitter page. I do have a Twitter widget (also a text widget, I’m using the one from the Twitter website), which ironically does not have a wonky hyperlinked title. I can’t figure out how this happened, or how to fix it. At one point I had several Twitter plugins installed, but I deactivated and deleted them. Oddly, one of the widgets with the hyperlink problem is displayed on several pages, and hyperlinks on some of them but not others.
My website is https://hollywebster.com. (Please cut me some slack, I’m still building it, so there’s no content up on the blog yet). The problem widgets are “subscribe” (which seems to be OK on the home page but is hyperlinked on the ABOUT and CONTACT pages), the “resume” widget on the ABOUT page and the “info” widget on the CONTACT page. The problem almost seems to be related to the widgets’ position on the page. I am using the “Widget Context” plugin (by Kaspars Dambis) to suppress widgets on some pages, I don’t know if that could have anything to do with it.
I guess I’m a working a little over my head — it’s one of those “I know just enough to be dangerous” situations ;).
Thanks for any suggestions!
