Help required please, with text wrapping round images in the centre column (740px wide say). I am used to setting up text to wrap round images
by aligning the image, to say, the left and the following text automatically wraps to the right.

However, when I try this in Raft (or Neve FSE) I find that none of the Align options currently give this as ‘Align left’ aligns image fully over to left of screen and ‘Align right’ aligns image fully over to right of screen.

Perhaps there is a way in which I can ‘group’ blocks to give the required layout as shown in the graphic which illustrates what I would like to achieve and what is available with current options.

To have an “Align to Left (or Right) of Content” would be nice in this excellent theme, but I would be happy to lay it out ‘manually’ if I knew how!

    Thank you

    Hello @overbridge,
    Thank you for using Raft!
I see the issue is not replicable when you are trying to achieve this in the Post Content but I could replicate it when editing a theme template.
As a workaround, you can place the image and the paragraph into a Group block and deselect the ‘Inner blocks use content width’ setting?https://vertis.d.pr/i/LVjgKr. I hope this solves your issue!

    Hello Irinel,

Thanks for response. I had come to a similar conclusion but used a “columns” block to fill the centre area and that allows me to align the image to the left and it stays within the centre area as needed.

Incidentally I found the same behaviour with the Neve FSE theme which I have now switched too as both seem to have the same FSE capabilities, Neve is one of your main products and perhaps more liable to maintain?

    Hi,

We try to give the same attention to all our FSE themes, so we’ll maintain them the same way. It’s up to your preferences which one you want to use.

Thank you for trusting our products!

Let me know if i can still assist you with anything,

Thank for the clarification and of course for the themes!
