Textarea paragraphs are being removed

Thank you for this fantastic plugin.
My only issue with it is the fact that it removes paragraphs when inputting data in custom textarea fields. This is particularly important for me as I require visitors to input a document with many paragraphs. This would produce a large block of text instead of a paragraphed document in the order page and emails.
Are there any solutions for this?
