Textareas are inoperative

    I’m test-driving EDD with my photoblog, which uses a child theme of twenty twelve. So far so good. I have asked general questions in another thread, which I would still like to know the answers to, but I have a specific question about a problem setting up EDD…

    I managed to set up a few image downloads, which I was able to purchase with Paypal Sandbox in test mode. However the email receipt was blank.

    The email settings purchase receipt template is blank, and I can’t edit it (can’t get a cursor). If I add an image, it doesn’t appear in the template, but it does appear in the email.

    Also, I have the same problem with the Agreement text: it is blank, and I can’t insert a cursor to edit it. Nor can I select the Text tab.

    (One quirk, which may/-not be connected is that the purchase button was blue, when the setting said gray. I changed it to another colour and back again, and now it’s gray. Strange.)

    I’d recommend clearing your browser cache. What browser are you using?

    Firefox, latest. Really? You think that might make two separate textareas editable?

    Most likely this is caused by a conflict with one of your other plugins that’s creating a JS conflict.

    Could you try deactivating your other plugins to see if that resolves it?

    Screenshots of the broken textareas would also help us figure out the issue if the plugins don’t fix it.
