Text/HTML editor for wordpress themes

    I’m looking for a free and easy Text/HTML editor for wordpress themes that I can use without installing WP on my computer?
    Searched forums, nada. ideas?

    Could not have searched very hard – I found dozens of free editors in second via ask.com. I happen to use EditPad Classic on all my systems, but NotePad is included in Windows, you choose what you link.

    I’m fond of Crimson on Windows, though mostly I use Kate and sometimes Vim or GVim on Linux.

    Standard notepad is nothing great, Notepad2 and Notepadd++ on the other hand are much better. Fast load times on Notepad2 make it my main editor, with Dreamweaver for anything else…

    Try free PHP IDE – Codelobster PHP Edition
    It has powerful HTML editing abilities and special WordPress plug-in also.
