    Hi there,

I can’t tell what happened, but the “thank you message” after booking shows the placeholders, not the dynamic data: https://ibb.co/d6VRnQQ (strangely enough it occurs on all of my testing sites that have Webba installed.)

and I can’t tell why, it was working previously.

Any idea what could have happened? I also tried to deactivate all the unnecessary plugins (except for Elementor +PRO, + Webba; not helping.)

The screencast video was taken on a different testing site with the same issue: https://youtu.be/kuzFtwCUgTc

Thank you in advance, kind regards
    Gabe

PS: since it’s a staging site, it is not publically available.

    Hi,

    Please, clarify the following information:

    1. The number of version of Webba Booking.
    2. State of the option Multiple bookings in one session on User interface tab (enabled or disabled)

    Hi there,

thank you for your quick response.

    • version: 5.0.16
    • “Multiple bookings in one session” was enabled, which made me think and test. So if it is disabled, it works: https://youtu.be/MJQ-Oi5tWpE

So, is it a bug then? – or if the MBIOS is on, we cannot use placeholders in the “Thank you message”?

One more thing got my attention. If I click the “cancellation” link in the “Thank you message” (the prev. setting is disabled), and it lands on the cancellation page, the #dt placeholder there does not work: https://youtu.be/OzBswWzUEkQ (settings: https://ibb.co/G7LsVvT; is there maybe a workaround there?)

    Kind regards
    Gabe

If Multiple bookings in one session is enabled, you need to use the appointment loop placeholder. Please, see an example below:

Your appointment details are as follows:  #service_name

    [appointment_loop_start]
    appointment_day at #appointment_time
    [appointment_loop_end]

Placeholders inside the loop will be repeated for each time slot in your order.

Regarding #dt placeholder, it’s not supported anymore in Webba 5.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you so much, I tested and it works.

As for the #dt placeholder, any other placeholders maybe?; if I click the “?” info: https://ibb.co/5jDKRwC, it says, but I tried to separate #date and #time, and it neither works (https://ibb.co/Lghr2Cg).

Can any placeholders be used there?

Last question: in the services page (backend), there is a “description” field (https://ibb.co/0JR6mnN), but it is not visible anywhere in the frontend. I asked this before when v5.0 came out, and I was told that this feature would be implemented in future updates. Do you happen to know when/if the service description will be available/visible in the frontend?

    Thank you, kind regards
    Gabe

Currently there is a bug which makes placeholders not applicable for this option. We will try to fix this issue in one of the upcoming releases.

Showing descriptions will be added as well. Sorry for the delay.

    Hi,

Update regarding the cancellation form. Since the version 5.0.18 you can use the option Booking details (Wording / Translation section) in the cancellation form. This option accepts the same placeholders as you are using in Email notifications. So you can provide info about the booking which was cancelled.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or create a new topic.

    Hi there (again),

Although I found a support thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/multiple-booking-cancellation-2/) about the cancelation link, how to separate to cancel only one appointment similar to the “loop start/end” option:

[appointment_loop_start] This link cancels one time slot: #cancel_link
    [appointment_loop_end]
This link cancels all time slots: #cancel_link

So, does this mean that I have to insert the cancel link after the date/time within the loop? And if I let the customer delete all appointments at once, I can simply insert a cancel link at the end of the email? In my case, the email looks like this:

    Dear #customer_name,

You have successfully made the following reservation: #service_name
    [appointment_loop_start] #appointment_day ? #appointment_time — #cancel_link[appointment_loop_end]
    Reserved time spots: #selected_count

    Thank you for joining us!

If you are unable to attend our event, to cancel/free up the appointment, click on the link next to the appropriate appointments, or on the link below if you want to cancel all appointments.
    #cancel_link

    Hi,

The template you shared seems to be correct. Please, clarify – what kind of issues do you experience with it?

    Thread Starter geekayhu

    (@geekayhu)

    Hi,

    thanks for the confirmation.

My issue was that there was <p></p> tags instead of <br> in the email text editor and with <p> it doesn’t work. But I cleared it up, so everything seems to work fine.

    Thanks, Gabe

    Hi,

Thanks for clarifying and happy to hear all in order now.

    Hi there,

I hope I’m not too much with my questions ?? but I’m trying to make the “Acceptance” custom field work with Contact Form 7. And I’m probably doing something wrong.

The line saying “I accept the TGC” (in my case) breaks incorrectly, it starts right after the “textarea” field, even if both have the <p> tag.

The only way it seems to work for me is if I use a <label> before, which is fine (however the padding/margin is way too much). My issue is that it should be a “checkbox” to really accept, and make it required to check. The reason is that in Hungary in some cases it’s mandatory to make a client accept either a privacy policy or GTC, despite that your plugin claims to be GDPR compliant.

So, could you please help me how to implement the acceptance as a checkbox + make it a required field? Because currently, as you can see in the video, I can make a reservation without a “real acceptance”.

I tried to use the Contact Form 7 own acceptance field, too, just to see if there is a checkbox, but it’s also missing.
And do not mind the other checkbox, which is for a “pricing rule” (it works just fine), so if somebody checks that, they get a free-of-charge trial treatment at the very first time.

    screencast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xkzjmEFeD0

At the end of the video:
My other smaller issue is that the client receives the email before finishing the reservation when they have to check the payment option (local or bank for example). So I had already received the confirmation email before I checked the payment option and hit continue, so the system shows the “thank you message”. But this is not a big problem, just a bit strange.

    Thank you!
    Kind regards, Gabe

    Hi Gabe,

    Please, find an example below:

    <p><label for="custom-field3"></label>[checkbox* custom-field3 class:wbk-checkbox-custom id:custom-field3 "TEXT OF THE ACCEPTANCE FIELD"]</p>

    This files is mandatory.

Regarding email notifications, you need to do the following:

    1. Open Email notifications tab of the Webba settings page.
    2. Disable confirmation notifications.
    3. Enable ‘On payment’ notifications.
