  • I gave Gutenberg an honest shot last week after updating my website. I really tried for a day, but the whole experience felt like trying to sprint in hip-deep water.

    I’ve developed my own plugins in the past, did plenty of work on theme files, so I thought I knew my way around WordPress, which is why I couldn’t wrap my head around why the new version gave me headaches.

    Turns out it was the block editor.
