I think there is issue with your theme. By Default, if no variation selected, add to cart button remains hide on page. Check your theme, i think it has js conflict or removed that code which by default woocommerce has in it.

I installed your plugin to change the “choose options” button into an add to cart button and it did, but it’s added dropdowns…

I want the dropdown and quantity removed, I just want an add to cart button which will add the variation I selected as default to cart :).

Basically, you want to add specific variation to the cart by add to cart button. Let me know if i am wrong.

To do so, you can use woocommerce shortcode which display add to cart button for single variation only. See this Information for same.

I don’t understand….this is the front page I am not using shortcodes…how does this help me? ??

All I want is an “add to cart” button like this plugin provides, but without the selections for the options which I thought is what this plugin did? It should just add the default choices to the cart which are set up in the product itself on creation. ??

I understand now what you need. You can hide variable selection by below css. Add it into your theme css.

ul.products .product-type-variable .variations { display: none; }
