  • It’s crazy that WP changed a default setting without offering a way to reverse the change from the Admin. Thank you for fixing the problem. The only suggestion I have is to make the wording in the settings more clear. Instead of “Disable comments on new” it would be more clear to say something like “Check the boxes to disable comments or trackbacks on new:”

    Even better would be to make it so checked boxes mean comments or trackbacks are enabled. I think that fits better with the way people think about a program’s functionality. Checked boxes usually mean enabled not disabled.
