    OK, so they have a disclaimer that WP Clone free will not work on 10% or so of websites. About a year ago, this same site that I’m thanking the developers for was one that the plugin didn’t work on.

    The regular plugin that we use for backups and migration is glitching something awful for several days now and my client has a major promotion happening this weekend. And a few other plugins that everyone else (including my team) has had success with would not work to migrate this site to its new host!

    So, in a last attempt to save myself the aggravation of having to manually migrate the site, I gave WP Clone a try and voila! It >>almost<< worked 100% — I had to manually copy the uploads because a few items were mysteriously missing. But everything else was fine!

    I am very grateful! And my client is thanking us for not getting any new gray hairs from the stress!

    P.S.: The frustration this site was causing actually caused me to investigate hiring a single site migration service from WP Academy for only $25 — which is an amazing deal. I’ll keep that in mind should I encounter any more nightmare sites to migrate!
