That’s my site redirect me error

    After installing the plugin, I follow the setup procedure and I am told that it was a success. I am then taken to a page on connect.woocommerce.com with the title “You just authenticated Facebook”
    Below that is a button that reads “That’s my site, redirect me”, when I click on it I am redirected to my domain and a blank page with -1 is displayed. Nothing else happens.
    When I check my admin area, the plugin still shows me the message “Please connect to facebook”

    Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for reaching out, let’s figure out why things are not lining up!

    When I check my admin area, the plugin still shows me the message “Please connect to facebook”

    A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, therefore, could you share a screenshot of the screen where that message appears, please? https://snipboard.io/ is a good (online) tool of choice for sharing it here.

    I understand you have followed the “Getting started” guide’s steps, directly linked here, resulting in a redirect loop -where the connection appears to not have happened.

    Feel free to follow the steps for re-connecting the plugin to your shop’s Facebook page.

    Let us know how that goes!

    Hello @design2code,

    There was a connection bug that was found recently but it should be fixed with the update released two days ago. Are you running the latest version of the plugin?

    Could you also share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hello @design2code,

    I was able to report the problem, seems like it’s brower-related and doesn’t have to do with the plugin itself.

    If you click the redirect button without having an open session on your WordPress site, it will redirect to the page below. With that logic, any ad-blocking/security browser extensions could also be the culprit.

    I have attempted your fix but with no success.
    The same still keeps happening with the -1 screen that displays afterwards.

    Thanks for reaching back, with further information on this.

    I am going through the information that the site’s System Status Report (SSR) reveals and among the active plugins I could see: 301 Redirects: by WebFactory Ltd – 2.72.

    Since we are investigating redirects in this thread, could you try disabling that plugin, along with any server-side caching (as I see under Dropin Plugins (2)), and see if the issue persists, please?

    Your solution was correct, I was able to connect after I disabled my caching plugin as well as the 301 redirect plugin.
