The About page: how to change the layout [2017 Theme]

  • Hello, I just started using WP and i like how easy it is to make changes to the site.
    On my WP 2017 Theme [About page] i manage to add an image and text and the text is very long, too long ??
    – is there a way to add a ‘read more’?

    – is it possible to change the layout and set the image to the left and have several
    blocks of text [3 colums: one image and two with text & a ‘read more’] ?

    I am talking about the blocks and how to rearrange them & how to stretch to the full width
